How are things going? Sorry I haven't been by in such a long while. Very cool imagery in the haiku.
Lately I've been rediscovering my hillbilly roots (my dad's folks are from Oneida, Kentucky) - an interesting site I found eldiablotuntun.blogspot.com has tons and tons of downloads of musical roots, including music from Kentucky, Cincinnati blues, hillbilly genres in general, and much more. Maybe that's something for you to check out too.
